My Urban Micro Flower Farm - Martel's Cut Flowers Est 2021
What is Urban Micro Farming? In my case it will be growing farm style, in my urban back yard. The area I am starting with is 1000 square feet for annuals plus some of my frontage for perennials. I am planning my first season of flowers to cut and sell. My husband has expressed an interest in bee keeping once he retires so I will have a bounty for these wonderful creatures to enjoy when that happens. December 2020 the year of Covid 19, I was planning for spring. I think we were all hoping for a better year ahead at this point. My husband and I are planning to xeriscape the front yard in the spring of 2021. I began to research the best perennials and flowers to use in our south-west facing frontage.
